ADHD

ADHD and ADD are neurodevelopmental conditions that affect how a person is able to manage their attention and impulsivity-hyperactivity, leading to difficulty with their day-to-day functioning and development.

There is no one cause of ADHD/ADD – both genetic and environmental factors play a part.

In Derbyshire, ADHD or ADD are not diagnosed earlier than 5 and a half years old.
