What is Friends of Croft PTFA?
Everyone with a child at Croft is automatically a member of the PTFA. All staff and governors from the school are also members.
We say ‘Friends of Croft’ to include grandparents and the wider family who can register too. We welcome support from local business and community groups to get involved.
How does it work?
What are the committee roles?
Friends of Croft School Committee Administrator/Secretary
This ‘Admin Whizz’ may be great at writing letters and emails, could help with grant applications e.g Tesco Community Grants. Keep records of meetings. Organised and takes care of documents. Keeping us safe.
Friends of Croft School Committee Chairperson
The ‘Rock’ will lead the ‘Friends of Croft Team’ working with the Head Teacher.
This can be shared between two people. They will have ideas of their own but also listen to others. Setting the agenda. Pushing the best events forward to make ‘it’ happen.
Friends of Croft School Committee Deputy/Co-Chairperson
Our ‘Champion’ with a positive force! Who can share ideas, chat to others, help with events and works closely the Chair. Making ‘it’ happen.
Friends of Croft School Committee
A group of ‘Star’ members. Helping with their chosen superpower (e.g making, creating, baking, etc) or simply lending a hand in PTFA activities. Purely flexible and optional.
Friends of Croft School Committee Treasurer
Our ‘Numbers Hero’ will be good with… you guessed it, numbers! Keeping us on track to raise as much money as possible. Talks to school recording money in and money out.
We will formalise the roles (which can be shared) at the ‘Meet up’ and everyone taking part will be entered to win a prize on the night.
