Personal Development
Here at Croft, our children have so much to support and develop them personally as whole individual people!

At Croft, we want to inspire all our children and raise their aspirations. We hope to widen their experiences and so, as part of our curriculum, we have an initiative where we expect ALL our children to have mastered (or at least begun to master!) 8 important life skills and to have experienced 8 very special and specific opportunities before they finish their journey with us...
8 life skills -
- Learn basic first aid
- Know their address and phone number
- Confidently know how to contact the emergency services
- Tie their own shoe laces
- Use a knife & fork properly
- Go to a cafe, order & pay
- Make themselves a packed lunch
- Prepare a meal & clean up
8 life experiences -
- Go to the theatre
- Experience live music & a variety of instruments and genres
- Visit the seaside - we do this the 'Croft' way!
- Meet some animals
- Go on a train ride
- Have a picnic in the park
- Take care of a pet
- Visit different places of worship
